  • The Scholarship will be paid as an obligatory fees credit towards the first semester of study at the University of Auckland. Obligatory fees are those only connected to the relevant program of study, with Student Services Fee.

Eligibility for University of Auckland Scholarships

To be eligible for University of Auckland Scholarships, the applicant must meet the entire prerequisite below:

  • Required Language: English.
  • Eligible Countries: All countries in the world.
  • Individuals registering for a Research Master’s program are not qualified to apply for this Scholarship.
  • Undergraduate students from University of Auckland Foundation Providers (UP Education and Taylors College) and New Zealand secondary-school leavers are not qualified to apply for this scholarship award.
  • Students must be registered as “on Campus” registrations. Students registering as distance education students will not be qualified to apply.
  • International students are persons who are neither citizens, permanent residents nor resident visa holders of New Zealand or Australia.
  • The grant may not be deferred up until the subsequent semester. A new Scholarship application will be mandatory.
  • The grant may be acquired with any other grant
  • Applicants must be international students applied for Masters (taught) of 120 points or more or an undergraduate degree (with secondary or post-secondary qualifications acquired overseas)
