  • The Wellcome Award MSc Scholarship amount is a maximum of £31,088.
  • This will provide the full fees for the program and the rest can be used for living expenses.
  • The amount left for living expenses will vary based on fee classification. For either a UK or EU fee candidate, the allowance will be £17,000, for a foreign fee candidate, it will be £9,344.
  • Scholarship award beneficiaries will also be able to put in for up to £3,333 research funding to fund their dissertation research.

How to Apply for Wellcome Award MSc Scholarship at LSE

To put in for LSE funding for Programs commencing in September 2022, you have to:

  • Hand in your application for the program
  • Hand in your Graduate Financial Support Application Form through the Graduate application tracker and also completing Section G: Personal Statement. and obtain an offer of admission (conditional or unconditional)
  • If you only want to be given consideration for the Graduate Support Scheme, you do not have to fill out Section G: Personal statement.
  • The result of your Graduate Support Scheme application will be shown on the application tracker after you have gotten an offer.
  • Successful candidates chosen for other LSE Scholarship awards or grants like this one will be gotten in touch with by email all through May, June and July 2021.
